Flat Mat - Needle Felting Surface / Felting Mat
The flat mat has been in the works for a while now and many of you may have seen my handmade felted felting surface in some of my videos. This has all been building to .... The Flat Mat!
100% WOOL and beautifully dense The Flat Mat is perfect for template felting .. and other projects too !
The Flat Mat is designed to fit on top of a foam surface and has been cut to the same dimensions as the Starter Kit foam pad which is 150mm x 250mm which will fit even the larger of templates :)
Included with the Flat Mat are two toppers (1 x Dark & 1 x Light) to get you started
A 10 colour topper pack is also available as an optional extra and part of a combo deal.
Use the toppers to increase the life of your mat and change the colour of the topper depending on what colour fibres you are felting with. Every surface picks up fibres, using the topper colour to match your fibres means your project doesn't pick up other colours from previous makes :)
As always there are various purchase options so you can mix and match for what suits you best
